چکیده

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is widely applied from analytics to biomedicine although it an inherently insensitive phenomenon. Overcoming sensitivity challenges key further broaden the applicability of NMR and, for example, improve medical diagnostics. Here, we present a rapid strategy enhance signals 13C-labelled metabolites with para-hydrogen in particular, 13C-pyruvate, important molecule energy metabolism. We succeeded obtain average 27 % 13C polarization 1-13C-pyruvate water which allowed us introduce two applications studying cellular Firstly, demonstrate that metabolism can serve as biomarker models Parkinson's disease secondly, opportunity combine real-time metabolic analysis protein structure determination same cells. Based on here presented results, envision use our approach future biomedical studies detect diseases.

Atomic-scale dynamics inside living cells explored by neutron scattering.

Single-particle neutron spectroscopy has contributed important experimental data on molecular dynamics in biological systems. The technique provides information on atomic and molecular motions in macromolecules on the picosecond to the nanosecond time scale, which are essential to biological function. Here, we report on recent neutron measurements performed directly in living cells by using iso...

Assessment of Cerebellar Metabolites Levels in Athletes Compared to Non-Athlete by Proton Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy

Background: Adaptability to exercise training can increase the plasticity of the brain, and whether this can be due to a beneficial change in the neurometabolites, is uncertain. The purpose of this study was to evaluate basal metabolic concentrations of cerebellum, including N-acetyl aspartate (NAA) and Cholin(Cho) in athletes and compare them with non-athlete subjects. Materials and Methods: I...

DNA Damages on Blood Cells After Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Introduction: Along with the increased use of cardiac imaging at clinics there is increased attention to the potential risks related to the methods used like magnetic resonance (MR) and it cannot be ruled out that MR can alter DNA structure. The aim of this review is to assess the impact of routine cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) scanning on DNA damages in human T lymphocytes....
